Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene plastic (ABS)
ABS plastic is a terpolymer of three monomers: acrylonitrile (A), butadiene (B), and styrene (S). The relative content of the three monomers can be changed arbitrarily to make various resins.
ABS plastic has the common properties of the three components. A makes it resistant to chemical corrosion, heat resistance, and has a certain surface hardness. B makes it have high elasticity and toughness. S makes it have the processing and molding characteristics of thermoplastic plastics and improves the electrical properties. performance. Therefore, ABS plastic is a "tough, hard, rigid" material with easily available raw materials, good comprehensive properties, cheap price, and wide range of uses. ABS plastic has been widely used in machinery, electrical, textile, automobile, aircraft, ship and other manufacturing industries and chemical industry.
Product Characteristics
ABS has excellent comprehensive physical and mechanical properties and good low-temperature impact resistance. Dimensional stability. It has good electrical properties, wear resistance, chemical resistance, dyeability, finished product processing and mechanical processing. ABS resin is resistant to water, inorganic salts, alkali and acids, insoluble in most alcohols and hydrocarbon solvents, but easily soluble in aldehydes, ketones, esters and certain chlorinated hydrocarbons. ABS resin has a low thermal deformation temperature, is flammable, and has poor heat resistance. The melting temperature is 217~237℃, and the thermal decomposition temperature is above 250℃.
Standards-Compliant
Chimei ABS PA757 complies with RoHS and UL certification standards.
Chimei ABS PA757 is a high-performance plastic material that complies with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) standards, which means it does not contain harmful substances and meets environmental protection and safety requirements. Additionally, it is UL ( Underwriters Laboratories) certified, a globally recognized safety certification body that tests and certifies products for safety and performance. These certifications for Chimei ABS PA757 ensure its safety and reliability in a variety of applications.
Application
Chimei ABS PA757 has a wide range of applications, including but not limited to automotive parts, calculator parts, shredder casings, fax machine casings, copier casings, office equipment applications, electronic and electrical casings, toy accessories, Household appliance casings, industrial applications and medical device accessories, etc.
Save And Suggest
1. The storage location should be a dry, ventilated, and cool place to avoid direct sunlight and high temperature environments.
2. ABS should be stored in a sealed container to avoid contact with air to prevent oxidation and aging.
3. During storage, keep away from fire and heat sources and avoid contact with oxidants, acids and other substances.
4. The warehouse where ABS is stored should be equipped with fire-fighting facilities, such as fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, etc., and ensure that staff are familiar with their use.
5. Regularly inspect the stored ABS to ensure that its quality is intact, and any abnormalities should be dealt with in a timely manner.
